WH23 | Wood you still love me tomorrow?

Five years ain’t that long when you’re really in love. And that’s what happened to us. I mean, yes, we are counting the days but it’s not like painstakingly, but more of letting the days goes by happily. And I am very much happy with what has happened to us.

This year marked our fifth year together. Looking back in 2007, when I first asked her to be mine, I never did expect that we’d go this far. I mean, I hoped, but I never expected. But I did try to do my best to keep her. And now, we’re still here.

And my question to her, after that five years is…

Wood you still love me tomorrow? (as five years should be celebrated with ‘wood’)

She said, “Yes.”

WhoHearts23 | (Special Post) Gracious Host Gio Kalaw

So yes, as you can see, we celebrated our fifth year anniversary in Singapore. We already did a lot of traveling around the city but the tour was completed with the help of an old friend.

Glenford Kalaw, or Gio (whew, there was a real funny story in meeting him before!), was a friend I met when he was still with TeleTech. He was one of the most passionate people I know within the company; doing extra-curricular work like hosting for our events back then even though he already has a lot of workload from his true role. Personally, I think he was one of the reasons why Lipa Service Delivery Center was a really solid group that is molded more of like a family than of a site.

Sadly, he left the company last 2011 and I know TeleTech lost of of its true gems. He went on to pursue other career paths in Singapore and he ended up as a Service Ambassador for Duck and Hippo Tours, the most prominent tour companies in Singapore. And I really see that he’s enjoying every bit of it.

Anyway, with a stroke of luck, we (Jacque and I) were able to get in touch with Gio and wow, we were given a real treat! He went on touring us in the Duck Tours, walking us through the Images of Singapore in Sentosa, and took us to new heights via the Singapore Flyer. Not to mention, it was his rest day and he spent all day with us.

So this post, is dedicated solely to Gio. Thank you for making our fifth year anniversary extra special, like three times special because of your gift to us. :)
